Lofts Are Hot

Sadly, not that kind of loft... I'm talking about the kind that your parents stuff all kinds of crap into (wood that might just have a use one day, old TVs, Xmas decorations, etc) so that you can't get to the little bit where you keep all your old computers and games...

I spent much of yesterday battling through the jungle up there to sort out my bit so I can get in there... and put more stuff up there. This, you see, is all due to the beginning of the big (late) Spring Clean! I need more room for my books in the bedroom, so some things have to go upstairs, but only if I can get to them when I need to (like, when I really need to play the Spectrum conversion of R-Type, for example). Hot, and knackered I was towards the end... then James rings and asks if I'll take him on to Keighley for one of his little runs... I agree despite being tired, and I'm rewarded by fun conversation and Tim McGraw in the CD player. Not a bad swap, really!

So, now my bedroom is a little clearer, though I have got all my computers and consoles down to sort them out before I pop them back up next week in the start of the big bedroom tidy-up... and once things are tidy down here, I have to go through my CDs and books to get them back in order too...

Oh - here's something I found thanks to the Vintage Gaming Network - a portable Dreamcast in Hong Kong... well, 'Treamcast'! Check it out here! Possibly not a true competitor for the portable Playstation coming from Sony (and unavailable except in Hong Kong) but neat, huh?
