Note To Self: Get Tapes For The Car
No, I'm not going on a long journey just yet, and anyway, my car has a CD player! No - this is my solution to the dodgy indicator problem! Currently, the indicator thing (stick, stalk, whatever) has red electric tape wrapped round it, and then round the steering column a few times. It sounds odd, but it works - it holds the indicator in place, and lets me indicate with no problems... and stops the bloody thing from flashing all the time!
Ah well. these things are sent to try us. I think after they try us, they shove us in the box and send us to the scrap heap, but there you go...
Had one of those really dull meetings on Friday afternoon, only going to sleep wasn't an option as I was doing the minutes... sitting there for two hours also gave me a gammy leg. Sigh.
A quicky today, you notice - not much waffle - mainly as my leg is still aching! But afore I go, I better say 'Welcome to the world of tomorrow!!!' to Jamius, who is redecorated, fairly happy, coming up this weekend and now on a broadband connection! The internet will never be the same again... I just have to show him how to use the newsgroups...
