We're The Sweeney, Son (an' we 'aven't 'ad any dinna!)
Well, apparently today has been a busy day back at home, with drugs raids and stuff (not an uncommon occurance here, but what do you expect in Burnley, home of the third Hellmouth?)
Me? I was driving out to the centre of Britain - ie Dunsop Bridge in the Ribble Valley. Very nice indeed, what with the lovely weather and scenery, but the large amount of roadkill kinda put a slight downer on it all. I didn't see the llama though - perhaps next time! As we all know, the llama is a quadruped. It has four legs and two beady eyes. If you see one, you should shout "Cuidado! Llamas!")
On the way back home tonight I thought we'd had another death crash (yes another - I was driving last week and the police had blocked off Padiham Bypass (Barrowford Road) past the Barden Lane turnoff - I didn't post as I didn't know about it until later), but no, it was just a truck that had broken down in the middle of the Rossendale Road/Manchester Road junction, and so blocking traffic for ages...
Still, it's been a much better day than most recently, and I appear to be losing weight... and I'm not even on the diet yet!!! Must be something I ate...
