Carpets, Lino and Flash
Well, I had totally forgotten yesterday was a Bank Holiday... After Friday, though I believed that I needed the extra day tagged onto the weekend! Not that Friday was too bad - I could always have an extra day in the weekend! oh to be James, sitting at home on his arse playing Battle Engine Aquila!
Saturday and the weekend pretty much flashed by for some reason, though - Saturday was largely spent in the loft, or reading books, while Sunday was a matter of getting up, going to Nicks to be neagged, moaned and yelled at (as normal!). One thing hit me though - they didn't know about me being chatted up in the toilets. The funny thing is that it should have been in the blog - oddly it wasn't... don't ask - I'm sure James can give you his version (hence his 'Pretty Boy' Mates entry for me... I'm still working on my revenge...! Possibly involving him and a toilet encounter... he will rue all those days of telling me about his past...)
So Sunday shot by (I gave Andrew a card for his recent (secret 33rd) birthday, and I drew a sniper rifle pointing out of the bushes in it...), and spent Sunday night prepping for Monday... which started with hearing the usual arguments from downstairs from the parents, moved onto mum and me tearing up the manky bathroom carpet and laying some slightly less manky lino in it's place. Then I had an afternoon to myself. And I started work on the flash animations that will get me back into the program and onto Newgrounds as a god. Or as King of the Portal, which is better! (^_^) Both are music videos, though one is actually going to be the start of a little occasional series called Akumi Girl Ninja. I won't tell you much about it now, as you'll see it unfold in the next few months... I just need to find more Smile DK songs... Episode 01 is coming! Really!!!
