RNP Presents Jet Morgan in... Journey Into Space!!!
Hmm. I've been thinking this morning about my plans in Flash and I've decided to jot down a few notes, so as to have a record and to see if people are interested....
Firstly, whether people want it or not (!) I'll be adapting the I.T. strips into Flash anims starting in the New Year (really really this time!), along with the Quatermiss Chronicles. This is a given!
I also want to get round to Dark Tidings as an animation... yeah, I know, but this won't just be me working on my own - DT needs to be a slightly bigger production with decent voice acting, etc...
Other stuff include some little animations to get started, a couple of music videos and one big project or two... or three... y'see I realised (after looking at a good website at www.journeyintospace.co.uk) that my favorite radio science fiction drama was 50 years old this year, and still brilliant And I've been listening to it all this week wondering if I could ever do a Flash version. Would someone sit through all 5+ hours of Operation Luna? Hmm. I want to find out!!! I have been wondering if I should start with the second story, The Red Planet(71/2+ hours!), as it is more accessible, and following it with World In Peril (8 hours+!!!)... Sure, the BBC might not be happy, but if they can bugger up the 40th Anniversary of Doctor Who, the 50th Anniversary of Journey Into Space is sure to go unnoticed.... though the possibility of the entire series on their new MP3 format discs is sooo enticing, especially if all the episodes are unedited!!! We shall see... I might just get a chance to make a start this afternoon after coming back from Manchester...
